Highway 240 Rollover

Mike Iverson of Pasco holds the hand of a trapped 15-year-old girl at the scene of a rollover accident on westbound Highway 240 near the Columbia Center Boulevard exit. The girl's aunt, Irene Castro, was driving and was also trapped. Both suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland. "That's a good example of why you wear your seatbelts," said Washington State Patrol Sgt. Roger Wilbur. Iverson was one of several passersby who stopped when they saw the accident.
